After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, I left for Minneapolis–land of corporate headquarters. My time working for area employers has left me with a priceless education in the art of building robust software & Web application experiences as well as user interface designs.
The process of creating relevant and engaging product components and software experiences has been job #1 for me. This has involved understanding product needs and delivering solutions that provide optimized usability while satisfying design and technical specifications.
I'll help you plan the creation of a successful user experience focusing on the product’s design and usability along with a broader UX strategy including business goals and user research. I'll work with you to define the goals, principles, and tactics to guide the design of a product or service.
My primary role as Senior Web Designer has been to develop concepts through final digital files for marketing and eCommerce sites that promote products and services throughout the US and internationally. My experience includes designing components as well as entire Web sites.
My role as a Web and UX/UI designer has been to work directly with managers, product owners, writers, and developers to ensure design is properly applied to products. To reach that goal wireframes and clickable prototypes are often used to map out user experiences efficiently for internal and external product review.
